In this installment of the video professional development series, there are two videos for small groups of educators to learn from the Common Core in practice. The first video does not include captions of evidence of Common Core alignment. The second video includes captions that highlight when the task or teacher move is illustrating Common Core aligned instruction. Educators will use a series of guiding reflection questions with the first video. These questions require educators to seek evidence of Common Core alignment in the video. Questions ask for evidence of alignment, evidence of effectiveness, and to stretch to consider possible aligned upgrades for consideration. The second video provides an opportunity for educators to compare their evidence with captions in the second video.
