Session 3
Supporting students’ interaction with text: GLSs and Questions
Description
This session will deepen participants understanding of the construction of in-text GLS’s and discussion questions within the Listening and Learning strand. Participants will analyze a lesson as written and determine how the in-text supports and discussion questions help students deconstruct text and interact with its various dimensions of complexity. Participants will work to create their own questions and in-text supports and consider how these may vary from those that are written in the curricula.
