Audience: Teachers, Coaches, and Instructional Leaders
- Develop a deeper understanding of the mathematical concepts within the specified modules and articulate how these modules contribute to the major work of the grade.
- Draw connections between the progression documents and the careful sequence of mathematical concepts that develop within each module.
- Prepare to implement the modules (both as classroom teachers and school leaders), understanding how appropriate instructional choices can be made to to meet the needs of students while maintaining the balance of rigor that is built into the curriculum.
- Articulate critical aspects of instruction that prepare students to express reasoning and/or conduct modeling required on the mid-module assessment and end of module assessments.
