November 2-3, 2011 NTI: Data Driven Instruction - Turning Analysis into Action

Data Driven Instruction training will focus on what school leaders and teachers can do to turn data analysis into action which impacts student outcomes. Trainers will meet participants where they are in their implementation of this work and prepare them for the critical next steps in this process. Elements of the training will include:

Implement the key principles of deep analysis
Make immediate use of the data we have
Identify effective and ineffective assessment analysis
Identify a range of potential instructional actions
Match analysis with appropriate instructional options
Identify effective and ineffective action plans
Leverage resources that provide pedagogical content knowledge*
Create accountability for following through on action plans
Identify the connection between Date Driven Instruction and the transition to the Common Core Standards
