CLOSE READING OF PAGE 32 OF BULLFROG AT MAGNOLIA CIRCLE: MAIN IDEAS ABOUT THE BULLFROG
This lesson begins a two-day close reading cycle with a new chunk of Bullfrog at Magnolia Circle. Yet these two lessons focus on page 32, which is structured much more like a “typical” informational text, with expository paragraphs and a glossary. Be sure to help students notice the differences between page 32 and all the other pages they have read, both in terms of style and structure.
